Keeping Shared Office Spaces Safe and Virus Free
Returning to the workplace post the Covid-19 pandemic can be daunting for many people for a number of reasons. Evolve Raybotix recently ran a survey among people planning a return to work and interestingly, the majority of respondents felt that having in place a robust disinfection process as well as social distancing measures would help to keep them safer in the workplace. Read full survey results here.
There has also been extensive press coverage about major call centre operations, such as the DVLA in Swansea, where employees felt that the measures put in place to keep services running were not robust enough to keep employees safe.
So what practical measures can those running call centres or shared office spaces take to ensure their spaces are as safe as possible?

Scheduling & tasking
Personalise your disinfection schedule and tasks with ease.
During non-working hours, the robots will automatically set to charge.
Disinfection in 10 - 15 minutes

Destroys 99.9% of germs & pathogens in all environments & across all surfaces.
As disinfection is chemical free, there's no need to wait for disinfection agents to settle.

Autonomous or Manual Control
Remotely or manually operate the robots.
Task the robot manually or remotely to clean immediately, or schedule cleaning for a later time.
Notifications & cleaning reports

Receive notifications and reports before and after scheduled cleaning.
Keep an up to date disinfection record and monitor disinfection outcomes.

Practical Measures to Keep Shared Offices Safe
There are a number of steps which call centre and shared office employers can take to limit the spread of viruses of any kind, even in a fully functioning, working environment.
For example, if there is spare desk capacity, then desks can be moved to create more distance between staff members. Where possible, it is best to avoid hot-desking. Employers should also consider more flexible work practices around core hours as well as introducing staggered breaks to avoid large groups congregating in common areas such as cafeterias or washrooms.
On top of these measures, good hygiene should also be promoted in the form of hand washing, sanitising stations and limiting the sharing of objects which are likely to carry infection such as phone handsets, keyboards and monitor screens. In high-traffic areas such as kitchens and print rooms, these would include water coolers, coffee machines and photocopiers.
However, these measures alone simply won’t be enough to guarantee that your shared offices or call centre spaces are free of viruses. Recognising the importance of having in place a robust and effective disinfection and sanitising system, discerning employers are looking at investing in technology which will ensure that spaces are disinfected either between shifts, client
appointments, or at the end of the working day.
One of the most effective and safest solutions to achieving a total disinfection of all touch points and surfaces, are UVC disinfecting robots offered by Evolve Raybotix.

UV-C Disinfection Robots for Shared Office Disinfection
We are a leading UK supplier of UV-C Ozone disinfection robots which are now classified as a ‘medical device’ by the Ministry of Health. These cutting-edge robots use UV-C light supported by Ozone gas to destroy microorganisms’ DNA structures, quickly and safely eradicating 99.9% of harmful bacteria and viruses in an environmentally friendly and chemical-free way. This method of cleansing is ideal for any office environment as it is quick, efficient, requires no moisture and leaves no residue.
Evolve Raybotix robots are the perfect solution for regular sanitisation of all areas of multiple office spaces to ensure infection rates are minimised through thorough disinfection of all surfaces.
Regular use of an Evolve Raybotix robot is not only an effective way to sanitise your offices but also serves as a highly efficient way to deeply disinfect a space where positive cases of COVID may have been detected.
Importantly, these robots can be programmed to clean a meeting room or office space directly after use in just minutes, ready for the next meeting or employee shift. Our portable NEO robot is ideal for sanitising a range of smaller spaces due to its ease of use and manoeuvrability, cleaning up to 25m2 in as little as 15 minutes. Our EOS model is a static robot which uses room mapping technology with the capability of sanitising an area of 80m2 in as little as eight minutes.
Our largest UV-C Ozone disinfection robot has been specifically designed for use larger buildings and those with multiple floors. It can be pre-programmed to disinfect and sanitise these areas overnight or whilst the building is closed, cleaning 100m2 in as little as seven minutes.
A recent addition to our product range is the Air Module which has the ability to sanitise environments without having to vacate the space. These modules have been designed to filter out harmful UV rays, protecting exposed people, food, objects and furnishings and come with multiple benefits including:
-
Effective eradication of viruses and bacteria;
-
Continuous sanitisation of surrounding air;
-
Efficient even in the presence of air conditioners;
-
Low volume operation.
