Automated UV-C Robots
Healthcare and Hospitals
Many individuals continue to feel very anxious about visiting a healthcare setting during the current pandemic, despite the lifting of lockdown restrictions.
That’s why disinfection robots are currently being used to tackle the spread of Covid-19 in hospitals and other medical settings. In fact, the roll out of these robots is part of programme funded by the European Commission which will see 31 hospitals across a number of EU countries, including Cork University Hospital in Southern Ireland (read more here).

UV-C Disinfection Robots In the UK
In the UK, more and more industries, including those working in the medical field, are also embracing this technology thanks to Swansea-based company, Evolve Raybotix. Evolve is the only UK supplier of UV-C disinfection robots, supported by Ozone, which are now classified as a ‘medical device’. These cutting-edge robots use UV-C light supported by Ozone gas to destroy microorganisms’ DNA structures, quickly and safely eradicating 99.9% of harmful bacteria and viruses in an environmentally friendly and chemical-free way.
In light of the global COVID-19 pandemic – and because so many surface transmission diseases are now designated as being Multidrug-Resistant (MDR) – disinfecting with Evolve Raybotix UV-C Ozone disinfection robots has never been more important.
Programming and Reporting
Our Raybotix robots can be programmed to schedule a disinfection of a treatment room, hospital ward or dedicated area either remotely or manually. This allows for a cleaning process to suit your operational needs, either during working or non-work hours or following operations or out-patient treatments.
Through the use of Lidar sensors, our Raybotix robots will map a surrounding area before the disinfection cycle begins which allows for the pinpointing of optimum positioning of the machine.
If you’re operating in an industry like a hospital which requires very stringent cleaning measures, including accurate reporting, then a Raybotix robot is the solution. Once the disinfection cycle is complete, these machines automatically produce a report after each cycle showing areas which have been cleaned and sanitised.
You can make your spaces safe to reassure those who need to visit your hospital, surgery or clinic for treatment with this ground-breaking technology, guaranteeing a hygienic space for your patients to visit and your employees to work in.

The innovative Air Module is the most recent addition to our range. Available for the NEO and SOL robots, this optional feature allows for the continuous sanitisation of spaces, keeping the bioburden low and minimising the spread of viruses.
