Disinfection robots lead the way in the fight against Covid-19
Research by Persistence Market Research (PMR), published last week in KSU Sentinel states that the adoption of disinfection robots has increased rapidly after the outbreak of COVID-19.
The research goes onto report that: “there has been an increase in the sale of disinfection robots by 400-600% across the globe. The novel coronavirus outbreak has also highlighted the inability of conventional techniques in disinfecting and sanitizing a facility, and this factor has rapidly driven the adoption of disinfection robots, as these robots can effectively disinfect hospitals and other public areas with minimal human interference.”
Importantly, this article says that many companies, like Evolve Raybotix, have achieved a stamp of approval for their production as medical devices in the fight against Covid-19. It also states that fully autonomous disinfection robots are the leading segment, owing to higher efficiency and low human interaction while disinfecting. See full article here.

Revolutionising the way we disinfect
At the end of last year, we also published our own article explaining how UV Robots are revolutionising the way we disinfect.
There is no doubt that the Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted how rapidly businesses need to respond and what measures they need to put in place to deal with the restrictions that this virus has imposed. Making use of effective and efficient technology, such as Evolve Raybotix UV-C disinfection robots, has been necessary for many industries and markets to ensure they can adapt to a new way of living and working.
In fact, Evolve Raybotix secured the licence to distribute UV-C Ozone disinfection robots from Italian Engineers and AI experts Autognity as early as May 2020. Autognity deliver innovative solutions for the likes of Maserati and Ferrari so quality is at the forefront of what they do.
Evolve Raybotix UV-C Robots
Our robots use UV-C light supported by Ozone gas for maximum sanitisation and peace of mind. They come in three sizes which enables application to a wide range of sectors and spaces – with the largest model being able to operate completely remotely and autonomously based on technology which allows for thorough mapping and sanitisation of large areas without the need for an operator on site.
As a result, UV-C robots are now being used across a huge range of sectors on a global platform including healthcare, retail, manufacturing, education and hospitality. The main benefits business owners deem to be the most important in using these robots in their spaces is the minimising of downtime through a low-cost sanitisation solution which guarantees to destroy 99.9% of viruses and other pathogenic organisms without additional manpower.
